8. can‘t help doing sth.禁不住做某事
help在此的意思是“抑制，忍住”，其后接动词-ing形式。例如：
His joke is too funny. We can‘t help laughing.

此句型的主语是物。cost一词带的是双宾语，它的过去式、过去分词和原型一样。
