When I was three years old, my parents discovered I was totally deaf. But instead of sending me to a school for the deaf, they decided to “mainstream” me. All of my peers and teachers world have normal hearing.

This is the nation’s first on-camera acting program developed for teens(aged 13-15, 16-20). We are celebrating our 30th year this year. House plants do more that just brighten up a room with color and living energy. Along with being pleasing to the eye, they bring real health benefits to your body. Not only do complaints about headaches, stress, and colds fall when indoor plants are present, but also they can help to keep the air clean.
A study in America found that common house plants could improve air quality. It was reported that houseplants were able to remove up to 87 percent of air toxins（有毒物质）in 24 hours.

In order to achieve a goal we often learn more and more. But if feels like you knew less and less because when you learned something new, you found that there was a lot more to know about those things.
Often times, people will get stuck in this trap of needing to gather more and more informational. There’s nothing wrong with learning a lot, but when you let learning get in the way of doing, you will never get going. When you never get going, you still never start having the things you want in life. Too much learning can paralyze you in terms of taking action.
A better way to go about achieving a goal is to gather some information and immediately start taking action on the information you have gathered. I realize that many times you will feel unprepared, and that’s okay. The best way to learn is to take action and learn from the results you get from those actions.
When you are able to get past the fear of not being perfect and just take the first step, you will be further ahead than the majority of people who are still in the preparation stage. It’s good to be prepared especially in situations such as a pilot and crew making sure the plane is ready to take off, but over preparation in trying to reach a goal won’t get you results. The knowledge and skills you will need will be picked up along the way.
If a baby wanted to learn how to walk, it will never be able to do it by sitting there and analyzing how to walk. The best way for a baby to walk is to actually get up off its behind and start walking. Sure it may fall, but with every fall, it will learn what is working and what is not and adjust to it.

For 170 years, members of a tiny American native tribe have lived and celebrated their traditions on a
small piece of land off the Louisiana coast called Isle de Jean Charles. They fished and they farmed, making living by hard work amid the bays and marshes（沼泽）. But now the waters that have supported them are threatening to overwhelm（淹没）them.
“I don’t think we’re going to have any other choice except to leave because we’re getting washed away by every storm that comes by,” said Albert Naquin, chief of the Biloxi-Chitimacha tribe. “We have lost more and more land, and it keeps happening.”
Surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the marsh on the other, Isle de Jean Charles sits at the southern tip of Louisiana’s rapidly disappearing wetlands, an area that is 3 to 4 miles long and about a mile wide. Here are some Earth-friendly ways to dispose of your real tree this year:
1)If you purchased the tree at an organic tree farm and you are sure that it wasn’t treated with harmful chemicals, think about dumping it into s small lake or pond. It can offer a wonderful new play land for fish.
2)Most cities gather trees on a certain day after Christmas. Be sure to call your local township and ask them if and when they do this prior to the holidays.
3)You could replant it, however you will need to make sure that you choose the right tree and have enough roots to make this option work.
Planning ahead is the key to hosting a Green Christmas this year. Map out where you will purchase your tree and where and how you will dispose of it prior to Christmas in order to achieve the most sustainable plans.
